Underwater Birthday Party!
Age 5-10

Have a water party without a pool!

Decorations: Tape pictures of fish, sharks, coral, anything found in the water on your walls. If possible, cover the ceiling over the dining table with a blue sheet, decorated with fish, creating a life-like under water environment. A blue tablecloth, dishes with sea creatures, and blue punch served in plastic glasses will keep your guests believing they are in the water! Your cake can be a large fish, made using a heart shaped pan. (You just cut the heart in half and place the cut sides down.) Make a tail for your fish with colored paper and frost your fish.

Go fish: Purchase fish magnets and place them in a bucket of water. Give each fisherman, one at a time, the pole with a line and a magnet glued to it, go fishing. They get to keep the magnet they caught!
